Community Colleges have many different meaning in every country. They have a verity of meanings. The Community Colleges were establishing in Australia in the 19 century were the adults need to be educated on numbers, letters, and had to learn to read. It was the basic education that you learn in kindergarten. Now in these days they teach every one for developments or to get a job. They teach students about art, business, and language. Community colleges are located in every type of city urban, rural, and metropolitan. You would find one near a small town. Then in Canada there are 150 Community Colleges that are roughly close to an American Community College except that they are called university. In Quebec they refer to a College as a private High School. Their colleges offer higher education up to bachelor and associate degrees. Most of the Colleges emerged with the baby population increased in the 1960’s. In Canada they have provinces, so that they each have a different education in every province. In Malaysia the community college is just a school that you go to and get ready to go to a post secondary school for more advanced. In the U.K they have community colleges or close to a college, because it is open to 11-19 years old. It has more things then sports, literacy, and lifestyle. In the U.S they sometimes call community colleges, City College. junior college, and technical college. After finishing community college you have to go to a university for 3 years and get a bachelor degree. There are 5 types of people that a comprehensive community college teaches. They are the people who will go to a university after community college, then that ones that will directly go to work. Then high school grads that are not ready for college, and for the community that goes just for “fun”. Last is that the people that the employers want to go back to school and get ready for the job. That is the worldwide Community College system.
